Environment, Health and Safety

Tyco Fire & Security is dedicated to excellence in all of our practices and policies concerning the environment, health and safety. We strive to be global citizens in the communities in which we operate, and to provide a safe, healthy workplace. We are committed to complying with all environmental, health and safety laws and regulations wherever we conduct business around the world.

We seek to conserve energy, water and raw materials, practice recycling and reduce waste. Most notably working regionally to recycle spent lead acid batteries, cardboard, paper and waste electrical and electronic equipment. In addition, seeking ways to reduce and/or eliminate hazardous materials used in our manufacturing processes globally.

We aim for excellence by implementing our EHS Management System with its supporting health, safety and environmental Standards and Procedures. This provides the framework and tools to enable managers and employees to perform work without injury to employees, contractors and others, and to prevent harm to the environment. We set targets and objectives to ensure that we continually reduce the number of harmful incidents that occur. And, we work to instill these values in all of our employees, wherever they may be located.
